THE GALENICA GROUP

From a Wholesaler to a Pharmaceutical Group

Since 1927 Galenica has managed to maintain its position as market leader in logistics for its partners in the Swiss health field. In the meantime this organisation, which is rich in tradition, has developed from a wholesaler to a many-sided and major pharmaceutical Group which operates successfully at every stage of the production chain from research to retailing.

The Galenica Group is focusing its activities on ensuring the longterm continuation of the company, since it aims to further develop as well as to maintain its decisive role in the healthcare market. To achieve this objective the Group is aiming for a high level of profitability based on its own efforts and is relying on its ability to develop, to strengthen and to set standards. Short-term profit is not among Galenica’s aims.
