Personnel change in the position of General Counsel

As a member of the extended Executive Committee, Barbara Wälchli has been responsible for the Legal Department at the Galenica Group for almost six years. She has also headed the General Secretariat since 2020. In her role as General Counsel, she has made a significant contribution to enabling Galenica to implement its strategy in recent years in accordance with frameworks and to drive innovation across the industry. She has successfully promoted innovation while complying with high regulatory standards.

Barbara Wälchli will remain at Galenica until the end of the year before taking up her new role at Swisscom. Her move underlines that Galenica is an attractive employer that produces outstanding leaders. The succession planning process has been initiated.
