HomeCare Bichsel and Lifestage Solutions: Working together for unique home care services
Galenica offers a unique range of services for retirement and nursing homes and home care organisations, hospitals and medical practices throughout Switzerland. These include the fully automated ordering and billing of consumables and care products via Lifestage Solutions as well as Bichsel’s specialised home care services. Our goal as a network: Significantly relieve the burden on nursing staff through digital solutions and specialist expertise.
A key step along this path is that our services and products are easily accessible from a single source. Since the beginning of October, Lifestage Solutions and HomeCare Bichsel have been operating in a single management structure on the market. The joint management structure of Lifestage Solutions and Bichsel HomeCare is headed by Juliette von Arx.
The combined expertise of HomeCare Bichsel and Lifestage Solutions is creating a unique offering in the Swiss home care market. HomeCare Bichsel has many years of experience in the provision of clinical nutrition and an established network, while Lifestage Solutions stands out with its digital platform.
Unique offering in the Swiss home care market
Together, Lifestage Solutions and HomeCare Bichsel support institutions and nursing staff in the individual care of their patients – competently and reliably. They offer comprehensive support in matters of artificial nutrition, IV and pain therapy as well as in the provision of stoma materials and all consumables and care materials. The entire process chain – from ordering to billing – is fully automated and time-saving. Another contribution to relieving the burden in day-to-day care: The medication ordering tool from Lifestage Solutions significantly simplifies medication management while increasing patient safety.
Support for institutions and nursing staff
The joint management structure of Lifestage Solutions and HomeCare Bichsel is headed by Juliette von Arx, former CEO of Lifestage Solutions. “We will continue to make targeted investments in digital solutions that make processes in healthcare institutions more efficient and simplify procedures for patients,” says Juliette von Arx. The HomeCare Bichsel and Lifestage Solutions brands will remain in place, as both stand for high quality and expertise in their respective areas. “With the new management structure, we are also relying on a common ERP system that intelligently connects processes and sustainably strengthens digital collaboration,” Juliette von Arx continues.
